- lemon juice - 2 Tbsp

- Bake at 300° for 15 minutes
How to make pineapple dessert:
In a 9 x 13-inch baking pan, melt butter and stir in flour. Bake at 300° for 15 minutes.Filling:1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple1 c. sugar2 rounded Tbsp. cornstarch2 Tbsp. lemon juice Combine and cook in a double boiler until thick. Let cool.Meringue:4 egg whites1 c. sugar1 tsp. vanilla Beat egg whites, adding sugar gradually until stiff. Spread filling over crust. Spread meringue over filling. Bake 1 hour at 325°. Cool.
