Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 c
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- butter - 1/2 c
- evaporated milk - 5 oz
- coconut - 1 c
- oil - 1 Tbsp
- baking powder
- baking soda
- eggs, well beaten - 2 item
- cake flour - 2 c
- crushed pineapple with juice - 2 c
- pecan pieces - 1 c
- Add beaten eggs, pineapple with juice and oil and blend well
How to make pineapple delight cake:
Mix the dry ingredients. Add beaten eggs, pineapple (with juice) and oil and blend well. Pour into 9 x 13-inch pan that has been greased and floured. Bake at 350° for 30 to 35 minutes.Hot Topping:1 c. sugar5 oz. evaporated milk1/2 c. butter1 c. pecan pieces1 c. coconut1 tsp. vanilla Just before removing cake from oven, mix sugar, milk and butter in saucepan.
