Ingredients/Components
- chopped pecans - 1 c
- pkg - 1 oz
- flour - 2 c
- stick margarine - 1 item
- cornstarch - 1 Tbsp
- box powdered sugar - 1 item
- bowl Cool Whip
- Topping:1 can crushed pineapple, drained reserve juice*
How to make pineapple crunch:
Filling:1 (9 oz.) bowl Cool Whip1 box powdered sugar1 Tbsp. cornstarch1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese Topping:1 can crushed pineapple, drained (reserve juice)*1 Tbsp. cornstarch Crust: Mix together. Pat into pan. Bake at 350° until light brown color.Filling: Mix together well. Pour over cool crust.
Topping: Pour the juice off can of crushed pineapple. Mix juice with 1 tablespoon cornstarch. Cook until thick and clear; cool. Mix with pineapple and spread onto the filling.
* If you prefer, other fruit can be used, such as cherries, strawberries or apples.
