Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/2 c
- vanilla extract - 1 tsp
- butter - 3 Tbsp
- large eggs - 4 item
- stick butter - 1 item
- warm water - 1/2 c
- Philadelphia cream cheese - 8 oz
- box Duncan Hines butter recipe mix - 1 item
- oil Crisco, Wesson - 1/2 c
- large can E - 1 item
How to make pineapple cream cheese cake:
Preheat oven to 350°. Grease pans with shortening. Flour the sides and bottom lightly. Mix 1/2 cup warm water with cream cheese. Add cake mix, 1/2 cup sugar, oil, eggs and 3 tablespoons butter. Beat at medium speed for 3 to 4 minutes. Pour into cake pans. Bake 35 to 45 minutes. Remove from oven and cool on wire rack.Frosting: On medium heat in large pot/saucepan, add 3 cups sugar, 1 large can E, 1 stick butter and vanilla extract. Bring to boil while stirring constantly until mixture thickens. Cool. Frost cake. Enjoy.
