  • sugar - 1 c
  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • salt - 1/4 tsp
  • flour
  • soda - 1/4 tsp
  • baking powder - 1 tsp
  • butter or oleo - 1/2 c
  • egg, beaten - 1 item
  • broken nutmeats - 1/2 c
  • crushed pineapple not drained - 1/2 c
  • coconut may be added - 1 item

How to make pineapple cookies:

Cream together butter and sugar. Add egg, then pineapple. Add flour, salt, soda and baking powder. Add vanilla. Nuts and coconut may be added. Drop by teaspoon on cookie sheet. Bake at 350° for 15 minutes.
