Pineapple cookies
Ingredients/Components
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- flour - 2 c
- brown sugar - 1/2 c
- soda - 1/4 tsp
- baking powder - 1 tsp
- shortening - 1/2 c
- egg, well beaten - 1 item
- white sugar - 1/2 c
- drained crushed pineapple - 1/2 c
- broken nuts - 1/2 c
How to make pineapple cookies:
Cream shortening with sugars; add egg and pineapple, mixing thoroughly. Add flavoring. Sift flour, measure and sift with salt, baking soda and baking powder. Add to first mixture. Add nuts. Mix thoroughly. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto a greased cookie sheet. Bake in hot oven at 400° about 10 minutes.Recipe categories: Desserts, Drop cookies, Cookie and brownie.
