Pineapple cheese torte
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/2 c
- cream cheese - 16 oz
- eggs - 2 item
- flour - 1 c
- powdered sugar
- Cool Whip - 8 oz
- margarine - 1/3 c
- ground almonds - 1/4 c
- unsweetened pineapple juice - 2/3 c
- crushed pineapple - 1 c
- pineapple juice - 1 c
How to make pineapple cheese torte:
Combine 1 cup flour, powdered sugar, almonds and margarine. Pat on bottom of a 12 x 8-inch pan. Bake at 350° for 20 minutes.Beat cream cheese until fluffy. Add 1/2 cup sugar and eggs. Beat well. Stir in 2/3 cup pineapple juice. Pour filling over hot crust. Bake at 350° for 20 minutes.
Combine 1/4 cup flour, 1/4 cup sugar and 1 cup pineapple juice. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly, for 1 minute. Fold in pineapple and cool. When cool, fold in Cool Whip. Spread over filling and chill 6 hours.
