Pineapple and cheese salad
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 c
- hot water - 2 c
- pecans - 1 c
- Cheddar cheese - 1 c
- lemon jello
- can crushed pineapple large - 1 item
- tub Cool Whip large - 1 item
How to make pineapple and cheese salad:
Combine jello and hot water. Let partially jell. Boil pineapple and sugar for 5 minutes. (Use juice; do not drain pineapple.) Let cool. Add Cool Whip, nuts and cheese to pineapple mixture. Add this to thickened jello; fold in and refrigerate. Top with additional cheese and chopped nuts.Recipe categories: Low sodium, Salads, Low in....
