  • salt - 2 Tbsp
  • garlic salt
  • hamburger - 2 lb
  • tomato juice - 1 item
  • uncooked rice
  • sausage
  • cabbage leaves - 1 item

How to make pigs-in-a-blanket:

Mix raw hamburger, raw sausage, rice, garlic salt and salt together. Carefully take cabbage leaves off and blanch them in boiling water until pliable. Shape meat mixture into rolls, about 3 x 1 1/2-inches. Roll into cabbage leaf and place in a Dutch oven roaster. Cover with tomato juice and cook over low heat for about 3 hours.
