Ingredients/Components

  • salt - 1 tsp
  • flour - 3 c
  • water - 1 item
  • egg - 1 item
  • vinegar - 2 tsp
  • shortening - 1 c

How to make pie pastry:

Add shortening to flour and salt, blend well. Put egg in liquid measuring cup and beat well. Add vinegar and enough water to fill cup to 3/4 full. Add to flour mixture and mix well. Makes 3 shells.
