Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1 tsp
- flour - 3 c
- water - 1 item
- egg - 1 item
- vinegar - 2 tsp
- shortening - 1 c
How to make pie pastry:
Add shortening to flour and salt, blend well. Put egg in liquid measuring cup and beat well. Add vinegar and enough water to fill cup to 3/4 full. Add to flour mixture and mix well. Makes 3 shells.Recipe categories: < 60 mins, Vegetarian, Heirloom/historical.
