Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 tsp
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- flour - 5 c
- cold water - 1 item
- baking powder - 1/2 tsp
- egg - 1 item
- vinegar - 1 Tbsp
- Crisco
How to make pie crust:
Combine dry ingredients and cut in shortening. Place the egg in a 1 cup measuring cup and beat. Add vinegar and water to almost fill 1 cup. Sprinkle gradually over dry ingredients and toss with a fork. This makes 3 (9-inch) 2 crust pies.Recipe categories: Pie, Pies and tarts, Crusts/pastry dough.
