- salt - 1 tsp
- flour - 1 c
- cold water - 1 item
- shortening - 1/2 c
How to make pie crust:
Two Crust Pie:2 c. flour1 c. shortening2 tsp. salt cold water Stir together the flour and salt. Cut in shortening until mixture is crumbly. Sprinkle water, one tablespoon at a time, over part of the mixture. Gently toss with a fork. Push to side of bowl. Repeat until all is moistened. Form dough into a ball.On lightly floured surface, flatten dough with hands. Roll dough from center into a 12-inch circle. Wrap dough around rolling pin. Unroll into pie plate. Trim to 1/2-inch beyond edge and flute edge.
