- salt - 1 tsp
- shortening - 2/3 c
- sifted flour - 2 c
- ice water - 3 4
How to make pie crust:
Mix flour and salt together. Cut in shortening to size of peas. Sprinkle in water 1 tablespoon at a time, mixing with a fork until all flour is moistened (3 to 4 tablespoons more water may be added if needed). Firmly press dough into a ball. Divide in half.
