  • Salt to taste - 1 item
  • medium size onion, chopped - 1 item
  • fresh squeezed lime juice - 1 Tbsp
  • medium ripe tomatoes, seeded, cut in small cubes - 2 item
  • fresh cilantro leaves, chopped - 1/4 c
  • 1-2 fresh jalapeno chilies or pickled jalapenos, minced

How to make pico de gallo:

In a medium bowl, combine all ingredients, mix well and serve as an appetizer with nachos or along with sour cream and lettuce as an entree enhancement.
