Picnic coleslaw
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/3 c
- salt - 1 tsp
- vegetable oil - 1/3 c
- cider vinegar - 1/2 c
- shredded carrots - 2 c
- shredded cabbage - 6 c
- bacon strips, cooked and crumbled - 8 item
- green onions with tops, thinly sliced - 12 item
How to make picnic coleslaw:
In bowl, combine cabbage, carrots, bacon and onions. In a jar with tight fitting lid, mix vinegar, oil, sugar and salt. Shake well. Just before serving, pour dressing over cabbage mixture and toss. Yields 12 to 16 servings.Recipe categories: Low cholesterol, Side dish, Healthy 2.
