Ingredients/Components
- thinly sliced cucumbers - 7 c
- thinly sliced onions - 1 c
- diced red and green pepper - 1 c
- salt
- celery seed - 1 Tbsp
- sugar - 2 c
- vinegar - 1 c
How to make pickles:
Dissolve 2 cups sugar in one cup of vinegar. Pour over mixture of first 5 ingredients. Stir and refrigerate. Will keep for 6 months.Recipe categories: Low protein, Snacks, Vegetables.
