Ingredients/Components
- water - 4 qt
- coarse salt - 1 c
- alum - 1 tsp
- white vinegar - 1 qt
- cucumbers - 10 lb
How to make pickles:
Soak cucumbers in cold water for several hours or overnight. Put dill, garlic and cucumbers in jars. Pack tightly. Bring the vinegar, salt and water to a boil, then pour over cucumbers. Let cool to seal.Recipe categories: Low protein, Snacks, Vegetables.
