Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 3 c
- vinegar - 2 c
- salt to taste - 1 item
- celery seed - 2 tsp
- bell pepper - 2 c
- mustard seed - 2 tsp
- onions - 2 c
- squash, sliced thin - 8 c
How to make pickled squash:
Mix squash, onions, bell pepper and salt. Let set 3 hours. Mix remaining ingredients and bring to boil. Drain squash and add to vinegar mixture. Bring to a hard boil, then put in hot jars and seal.Recipe categories: Lunch/snacks, Snacks, Squash.
