Ingredients/Components

  • cleaned, boiled shrimp - 2 2
  • medium Vidalia onions, sliced - 4 item
  • salad oil
  • warmed white vinegar - 3/4 c
  • salt
  • celery seed
  • capers and juice
  • dash of Tabasco sauce - 1 item
  • Worcestershire sauce - 1/4 c
  • yellow mustard - 1 Tbsp

How to make pickled shrimp:

Arrange shrimp and sliced onions in layers in a large bowl. Mix other ingredients together and pour over shrimp. Cover and store in refrigerator not less than 24 hours before serving. (These can be kept one week.)
