Pickled peaches
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 lb
- water - 1 pt
- vinegar - 1 qt
- cloves - 2 Tbsp
- 2 inch cinnamon sticks - 6 item
- peaches small cling seed - 3 qt
How to make pickled peaches:
Wash and peel peaches. Cook sugar, vinegar, water and spices for 10 minutes. Add peaches and cook slowly until tender. Let peaches stand in syrup over night. The next morning drain and cook syrup until it thickens slightly. Pack peaches in jars and cover with hot syrup. Seal the jars.Recipe categories: Condiments, etc., Side dish, Peaches.
