Ingredients/Components
- salt - 2 Tbsp
- water - 1/2 c
- cloves garlic - 5 item
- celery salt - 1 Tbsp
- white vinegar - 1 qt
- pods hot pepper - 5 item
- tender fresh okra - 2 lb
How to make pickled okra:
Wash okra and pack in hot pint jars. Put 1 pod of pepper and 1 clove of garlic in each jar. Mix other ingredients and bring to a boil. Pour over okra and seal.Okra pickles should stand two weeks before using. Chill. Wonderful for dieters.
