Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1/2 c
- water - 1 c
- cloves garlic - 6 item
- okra - 3 lbs
- dill seed - 6 tbsp
- quart vinegar - 1 item
- pods hot pepper - 6 item
How to make pickled okra:
Mix vinegar, water, and salt together and bring to a boil. Pack pint jars with okra. To each pint add: 1 clove, garlic, 1 pod hot pepper, 1 tbsp. dill seed. Pour hot mixture over and seal.Makes about 6 pints. It will be ready to eat in about 3 weeks.
