Ingredients/Components
- eggs, hard-boiled - 2 doz
- vinegar - 2 c
- water - 1 c
- sugar - 2 Tbsp
- salt - 1 tsp
- celery seed - 1/2 tsp
- mixed pickle spice - 1 tsp
- black or red pepper to taste - 1 item
- minced clove garlic - 1 item
How to make pickled eggs:
Simmer vinegar, water, sugar, salt, celery seed and spices. Cool liquid. Strain over shelled, hard-cooked eggs. Add minced garlic and marinate in covered jar. Store in refrigerator for 2 or 3 days.Recipe categories: Egg, Lunch/snacks, Appetizers.
