Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 Tbsp
- salt - 1 tsp
- small onion, sliced - 1 item
- hard-boiled eggs - 12 item
- white vinegar - 2 c
- pickling salt - 1 tsp
How to make pickled eggs:
Combine all ingredients except eggs in saucepan. Simmer over low heat for 10 minutes. Arrange eggs in two 1 quart jars. Pour 1 cup vinegar mixture over eggs in each jar. Cover tightly and refrigerate overnight. Eggs may be stored up to 2 weeks in refrigerator.Recipe categories: Egg, Lunch/snacks, Appetizers.
