Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1 Tbsp
- cloves garlic - 3 item
- bay leaves - 2 item
- white vinegar - 2 pt
- powdered ginger - 1 tsp
- whole allspice - 10 item
- pod red pepper - 1 item
- hard-cooked eggs, shelled - 3 doz
How to make pickled eggs:
Arrange eggs in a glass jar; simmer remaining ingredients for 15 minutes. Pour over eggs and cover. Chill for 24 hours. Will keep indefinitely in refrigerator. May make 1/2 of recipe if too much.Recipe categories: Egg, Lunch/snacks, Appetizers.
