Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 tsp
- salt - 1 tsp
- water - 1/2 c
- vinegar - 1 c
- salad oil - 2 Tbsp
- pepper - 1/2 tsp
- large cucumbers - 2 item
- large onion, sliced paper thin - 1 item
How to make pickled cucumbers:
Peel cucumbers and run the tines of a fork lengthwise down to give it serrated edges when sliced. Slice paper thin. Place in a small deep bowl alternating with layers of onion. Combine vinegar, water, salad oil, sugar, salt and pepper. Pour over cuRecipe categories: Low protein, Low fat, Side dish.
