  • salad oil - 1 c
  • cans black-eyed peas, drained - 2 oz
  • onion, sliced and separated into rings - 1 item
  • cracked pepper to taste - 1 item
  • buds garlic or less, minced - 2 item

How to make pickled black-eyed peas:

Mix and put in a large jar or container with tight lid and refrigerate for at least 24 hours. Stir gently occasionally.
