Ingredients/Components
- green tomatoes - 1 gal
- vinegar - 1 qt
- salt, whole cloves or pickling spices - 1 tsp
- stick cinnamon - 1 item
- onions - 6 item
- sugar - 1 lb
How to make piccalilli:
Slice tomatoes and onions thin, then let stand overnight. Drain next morning. Mix vinegar, sugar, salt and spices. Add tomatoes and onions; bring to boil. Put in jars and seal.In memory of Thelma Riggle.
