Ingredients/Components
- salt - 3 tsp
- cider vinegar - 1/2 c
- clove garlic, minced - 1 item
- large green pepper - 1 item
- tomatoes, peeled and chopped - 8 c
- or 3 onions, chopped - 2 item
- to 7 jalapeno peppers - 4 item
How to make picante sauce:
Chop all ingredients. Cook, uncovered, 3 hours or until fairly thick. Makes 4 pints. Put in jars and process in water bath or pressure canner on 15 pounds pressure for 20 minutes.Recipe categories: Sauces, Dips, Savory sauces.
