Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/2 c
- lime juice - 4 Tbsp
- chili powder - 4 Tbsp
- cloves garlic - 16 item
- parsley - 2 Tbsp
- tomatoes, chopped - 5 qt
- onions, chopped - 8 item
- white vinegar - 1 c
- green peppers, chopped - 8 item
- jalapeno peppers - 8 item
- canning salt - 1/4 c
How to make picante sauce:
Boil 5 minutes; heat and boil lids and rings. Seal. Makes 12 pints.Just like what they serve at Mexican Chiquita.
