Ingredients/Components

  • sugar - 1/2 c
  • lime juice - 4 Tbsp
  • chili powder - 4 Tbsp
  • cloves garlic - 16 item
  • parsley - 2 Tbsp
  • tomatoes, chopped - 5 qt
  • onions, chopped - 8 item
  • white vinegar - 1 c
  • green peppers, chopped - 8 item
  • jalapeno peppers - 8 item
  • canning salt - 1/4 c

How to make picante sauce:

Boil 5 minutes; heat and boil lids and rings. Seal. Makes 12 pints.
