Picante salsa
Ingredients/Components
- cider vinegar - 3/4 c
- minced garlic - 2 tsp
- tomatoes - 1 gal
- onions - 1 qt
- pickling salt
- hot peppers - 1 c
How to make picante salsa:
Cut up tomatoes. Dice onions and peppers. Using a large pot, bring to a boil and simmer for 45 minutes. Add 3/4 cup cider vinegar, pickling salt and minced garlic. Stir well. Pour into jars. Yields 6 to 7 pints.Recipe categories: Sauces, Condiments, etc., Salsas.
