Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- raisins - 1/2 c
- dried whole oregano - 1/4 tsp
- pepper - 1/4 tsp
- Worcestershire sauce - 2 Tbsp
- cloves garlic, minced - 2 item
- can tomato sauce - 1 oz
- olive oil - 2 Tbsp
- lean ground beef
- celery salt - 1/2 tsp
- medium onions, finely chopped - 2 item
- large green peppers, chopped - 2 item
- can whole tomatoes undrained, chopped - 1 oz
- jar pimiento-stuffed olives, drained - 1 oz
How to make picadillo:
Saute onions, peppers and garlic in hot oil in skillet until tender. Add beef. Cook until browned; stir to crumble. Drain. Add salt and next 8 ingredients; stir well. Cover. Simmer 30 minutes; stir occasionally. Serve over yellow or white rice.Recipe categories: Lunch/snacks, Main dish, One Dish meal.
