- sour cream - 1 pt
- salt - 3 tsp
- flour - 1/4 c
- butter - 4 Tbsp
- pepper - 1/2 tsp
- pheasant - 1 item
How to make pheasant:
Clean bird; cut for frying. Combine flour, 2 1/2 teaspoons salt and pepper. Place in paper bag with pieces of bird; shake. Melt butter in covered skillet; brown pheasant. Pour sour cream mixed with remaining salt over meat. Cover and bake at 300° for 2 hours or until tender.Recipe categories: Main dish, Wild game, Pheasant.
