  • sour cream - 1 pt
  • salt - 3 tsp
  • flour - 1/4 c
  • butter - 4 Tbsp
  • pepper - 1/2 tsp
  • pheasant - 1 item

How to make pheasant:

Clean bird; cut for frying. Combine flour, 2 1/2 teaspoons salt and pepper. Place in paper bag with pieces of bird; shake. Melt butter in covered skillet; brown pheasant. Pour sour cream mixed with remaining salt over meat. Cover and bake at 300° for 2 hours or until tender.
