  • sugar - 1 c
  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • salt
  • evaporated milk - 1 c
  • coconut - 1 c
  • cocoa - 1/2 c
  • soft butter - 7 Tbsp
  • box confectioners sugar - 1 item
  • warm water - 4 5
  • large marshmallows - 24 item
  • pecans, chopped - 1 c

How to make peter paul mounds cake:

Icing:1/4 tsp. salt1/2 c. cocoa1 box confectioners sugar4 to 5 Tbsp. warm water1 tsp. vanilla7 Tbsp. soft butter Prepare cake mix according to package directions. Cook in 4 layers or a 9 x 13 x 2-inch cake pan. Cool.

Filling: Mix sugar, milk, marshmallows and coconut in double boiler and heat until marshmallows are dissolved. Add pecans. Set aside and let cool completely. Put filling between 3 layers of the cake.

Icing: Mix salt, confectioners sugar, cocoa and water together until lumps are gone. Add vanilla and butter. Stir until spreading consistency. Ice cake.
