Pesto sauce
Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- water - 1/4 c
- pepper - 1/4 tsp
- grated Parmesan cheese - 1/4 c
- cloves garlic - 2 item
- olive oil - 1/4 c
- fresh parsley - 1/4 c
- fresh basil
- pine nuts or walnuts - 2 Tbsp
- pasta, cooked - 1 lb
How to make pesto sauce:
In a blender jar, mix olive oil, water, basil and garlic. Blend on high speed. Let stand for 15 minutes. Add pepper, salt and pine nuts. Blend at a lower speed. Add parsley and cheese. Mix again. Serve pesto over pasta.Notes From Joyce: Good eating. Thanks to Martina Navratalova.
