Persimmon cookies

Ingredients/Components

• sugar - 1 c
• cinnamon - 1/2 tsp
• salt - 1/2 tsp
• nutmeg - 2 tsp
• baking powder - 1 tsp
• baking soda - 1 tsp
• egg - 1 item
• shortening - 1/2 c
• chopped nuts optional - 1 c
• raisins - 1 c
• cloves - 1/2 tsp
• persimmon pulp - 1 c

How to make persimmon cookies:

Cream sugar and shortening. Add egg and pulp. Sift all dry ingredients together and add to mixture. Add raisins and nuts. Bake at 350° for 12 minutes.
