- shortening - 1/2 c
- sugar - 1 c
- egg - 1 item
- baking soda - 1 tsp
- flour - 2 c
- cinnamon - 1/2 tsp
- cloves - 1/2 tsp
- nutmeg - 1/2 tsp
- persimmon pulp - 1 c
- raisins optional - 1 c
- ground pecans or walnuts - 1 c
How to make persimmon cookies:
Cream the shortening and sugar. Add egg. Blend in dry ingredients. Fold in pulp, raisins and nuts. Drop by spoonfuls onto cookie sheet. Bake at 350° for 10 to 12 minutes.Recipe categories: Desserts, Drop cookies, Cookie and brownie.
