Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 c
- cinnamon - 1 tsp
- eggs - 2 item
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- flour
- brown sugar - 2 c
- baking soda - 1/2 tsp
- powdered sugar - 5 c
- persimmon pulp - 2 c
- each nutmeg and cinnamon - 1/2 tsp
- melted butter or oil - 1/2 c
- Put in 2 greased round cake pans
How to make persimmon cake:
Mix the ingredients. Put in 2 greased round cake pans. Bake at 350° for about 1 hour or until set. Top with icing.Icing:1 c. butter2 c. brown sugar1/2 c. persimmon pulp1/2 tsp. each nutmeg and cinnamon5 c. powdered sugar Bring butter and brown sugar to a boil.
