Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 c
- eggs - 6 item
- vanilla - 2 Tbsp
- flour - 2 c
- cream - 2 Tbsp
- butter not margarine - 1 lb
How to make perfect pound cake:
Add sugar to butter gradually and cream together. Add eggs, one at a time, then add cream. Add flour gradually, then add vanilla. Pour into a well-greased and floured tube pan. Drop pan to remove any bubbles. Bake at 350° for 1 hour until brown and springy. Freezes well.Recipe categories: Desserts, Cakes, For large groups.
