Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 Tbsp
- salt - 1 tsp
- flour - 4 c
- cold water - 1/2 c
- egg - 1 item
- vinegar - 1 Tbsp
- Crisco shortening
How to make perfect pie crust:
Mix egg in cold water and vinegar. With a fork, mix first 4 ingredients until they are mealy. Add the rest and mix. Mold with hands into a ball. Chill at least 15 minutes before using. Makes crust for 2 pies.The good part: anyone can handle the crust as much as needed without crust being tough.
