  • black pepper - 1/4 tsp
  • minced garlic - 1 tsp
  • onion pepper - 1/4 tsp
  • packaged plain dry bread crumbs

How to make peppery breaded pork chops:

Breading:1 c. packaged plain dry bread crumbs1 Tbsp. minced fresh parsley1 tsp. salt1/2 tsp. ground red pepper1/4 tsp. black pepper1/4 tsp. onion pepper Have a 13 x 9-inch microwavesafe dish ready. Put butter and garlic in a microwavesafe pie plate and microwave on High for 1 1/2 to 2 minutes, until butter melts and sizzles. Meanwhile, mix breading ingredients. Dip chops in garlic butter, then breading mixture to coat. Place in single layer in baking dish with meaty sides toward edges. Sprinkle with remaining breading mixture and drizzle with remaining butter. Cover dish with waxed paper and microwave on Medium-high for 22 to 25 minutes, rotating dish and rearranging chops twice, until meat nearest the bone is barely pink. Let stand 5 to 8 minutes to complete cooking.
