Pepperoni bread



  • pkg - 1 1/2
  • garlic powder - 1/2 tsp
  • dried oregano, crushed - 1/2 tsp
  • olive oil - 2 3
  • loaf frozen bread dough, thawed - 1 lb
  • shredded Provolone or Mozzarella cheese - 2 c

How to make pepperoni bread:

Heat oven to 350°. Roll dough to 12 x 9-inch rectangle on lightly floured surface. Combine oregano and garlic powder; mix with olive oil. Brush oil mixture lightly on dough, reserving some for top of dough. Cover with pepperoni slices, then cheese. Roll up jelly roll style. Brush with remaining oil mixture. Pinch seams of dough tightly. Place on lightly greased cookie sheet. Bake at 350° for about 30 minutes. Cool at least 15 minutes. Cut into 1-inch thick slices.
