Peppermint ice cream

Ingredients/Components

• milk - 1 c
• salt - 1/4 tsp
• large marshmallows - 12 item
• heavy cream, whipped - 1 c
• crushed peppermint stick candy - 1/2 c

How to make peppermint ice cream:

Scald milk; add 1/4 cup crushed marshmallows and salt; stir until dissolved. Freeze in refrigerator tray until firm, about 2 hours. Beat in chilled bowl until smooth. Fold in remaining candy and whipped cream; return to tray to freeze until firm, about 3 to 4 hours.
