Peppered steak
Ingredients/Components
- butter - 2 Tbsp
- cornstarch - 3 Tbsp
- water - 3/4 c
- paprika - 1 item
- soy sauce - 3/4 c
- cloves garlic - 2 item
- green onions - 1 item
- tomatoes, quartered - 3 item
- rice - 1 item
- cans beef broth - 2 item
- round steak, cut in strips - 1 item
- peppers, cut in strips - 3 item
How to make peppered steak:
Use long strips of round steak, put paprika on and let set. Cut peppers in strips. Cut up green onions and quarter the tomatoes. Cook rice. Brown garlic in butter in skillet with meat and cook until brown. Pour beef broth on steak after browned. Simmer this for 30 minutes. Add onions and peppers; cook for 10 minutes. Mix soy sauce, water and cornstarch together and pour on top of skillet; thicken to a clear, brown sauce. Add tomatoes and cook for 5 minutes.
