Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1 tsp
- cornstarch - 2 Tbsp
- water - 1/4 c
- oil - 1/4 c
- pepper - 1 item
- soy sauce - 2 tsp
- clove garlic - 1 item
- hot cooked rice - 1 item
- onion, finely chopped - 1/4 c
- green peppers - 4 item
- beef bouillon - 1 c
- celery, sliced - 1 c
- round steak - 1 lb
How to make pepper steak:
Cut steak diagonally into thin slices 2-inches long. Cook beef with pepper and onion. Add celery and bouillon; cover and cook 10 minutes. Discard garlic. Combine cornstarch, water and soy sauce; blend until smooth and slowly add to skillet. Stir until liquid is thickened, approximately 5 minutes. Serve with rice.
