Ingredients/Components
- flour - 1/2 c
- butter - 3/4 c
- salt and pepper - 1 item
- medium onions, sliced - 3 item
- green peppers, sliced - 3 item
- beef bouillon
- 2 1/2 can tomatoes - 3 quartered
- red Burgundy - 6 Tbsp
- tenderloin steak, sliced - 3 lb
- 202 can button mushrooms - 9 mushrooms,
- Espagnole Sauce
- Add Espagnole Sauce and simmer 10 minutes
How to make pepper steak:
First prepare green pepper sauce: Saute green pepper, onions, mushrooms and tomatoes in 1/2 cup butter for 5 minutes. Add Espagnole Sauce and simmer 10 minutes. Salt and pepper steak slices and dredge in flour. Saute in remaining 1/4 cup butter for 2 mRecipe categories: Main dish, Meat, Beef.
