Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 tsp
- cornstarch - 1 Tbsp
- cold water - 1/4 c
- oil - 1/4 c
- ginger - 1 tsp
- soy sauce - 1/4 c
- large green pepper - 1 item
- can mushrooms, drained - 1 item
- onion - 1 item
- can water chestnuts - 1 item
- garlic - 1 tsp
- beef bouillon cube - 1 item
- round steak - 1 item
- Put oil, ginger and garlic into electric skillet or wok
How to make pepper steak:
Cut round steak into thin pieces. Put oil, ginger and garlic into electric skillet or wok. Brown a little at a time. Drain meat well. Slice onion and pepper. Add to grease and saute. Add cooked meat and toss slightly. Add mushrooms and water chestnuts.Gravy:1 c. water beef bouillon cube1/4 c. cold water1 Tbsp. cornstarch1/4 c. soy sauce1 tsp. sugar1/4 c. cold water Mix the cornstarch in cold water before adding to other ingredients.
