Ingredients/Components

  • flour - 1 c
  • water - 1/2 gal
  • stick butter - 1 item
  • pepper - 1 tsp
  • chopped onion - 1 c
  • can stewed tomatoes - 1 item
  • hamburger - 1 lb
  • carrots - 1 c
  • celery - 1 c
  • Accent - 1 tsp
  • beef bouillon - 2 tsp
  • frozen veggies - 2 c

How to make pepper soup:

Put all veggies in pan; cover with water and simmer until tender. In a large kettle, melt 1 stick butter. Add 1 cup flour slowly and work out all the lumps. Then slowly add 1/2 gallon water and cook until thick. Drain veggies and add to broth. Add browned hamburger, stewed tomatoes, pepper, Accent and beef bouillon. Cook until tender (medium heat).
