Pepper jelly
Ingredients/Components
- sugar
- chopped green pepper - 3/4 c
- white vinegar
- chopped sweet red pepper - 1/4 c
- bottle liquid pectin - 1 oz
How to make pepper jelly:
In a saucepan combine all ingredients except pectin. Boil about 5 minutes. Add pectin and continue to boil, stirring occasionally until mixture thickens, about 15 to 20 minutes or until mixture forms a soft ball in your spoon. Remove from heat and pour into sterilized jars and seal. Great served with cream cheese and crackers.Recipe categories: Appetizers, Spreads, Jellies.
