Pepper jelly
Ingredients/Components
- jalapeno peppers, rinsed in cold water, without juice and seeds, finely ground - 1/2 c
- ground bell pepper without seeds - 3/4 c
- sugar
- apple cider vinegar
- bottle Certo - 1 oz
- green food coloring - 1 item
How to make pepper jelly:
Bring peppers, sugar and vinegar to a hard rolling boil. Remove from heat. Let stand 5 minutes. Skim off foam. Mix in Certo. Add a few drops of food coloring. Pour in jars with screw top or cover with paraffin. Serve with cream cheese or Wheat Thins, Triscuits or cracker of your choice.Recipe categories: Appetizers, Spreads, Jellies.
